Olen ollut politiikassa mukana vuodesta 2005 alkaen ja toiminut Oulun kaupunginvaltuutettuna neljä kautta. Tällä hetkellä olen 1. varavaltuutettu. Näiden vuosien aikana olen ollut mm. kaupunginhallituksen jäsenenä, rakennuslautakunnan puheenjohtajana sekä yhdyskuntalautakunnan varapuheenjohtaja. Olin hyvinvointilautakunnan jäsen vuoden 2022 loppuu saakka. Tammikuusta 2023 alkaen olen jäsenenä hyvinvointi–, kulttuuri– ja liikuntalautakunnassa.

Haluan, että koko Pohjois-Pohjanmaa on meille kaikille asukkaille turvallinen paikka elää eikä meidän tarvitse pelätä liikkumista päivällä eikä yöllä. Meillä kaikilla riippumatta iästä tai asuinpaikasta on oikeus työhön ja hyviin peruspalveluihin, kuten esimerkiksi sosiaali- ja terveyspalvelut, koulutus ja joukkoliikenne. On tärkeää pitää myös rakennetusta ympäristöstä ja luonnosta hyvää huolta, jotta se toisi virkistystä ja iloa vielä seuraavillekin sukupolville.

Minut on asetettu ehdolle vuoden 2025 kuntavaaleissa Oulussa ja hyvinvointialuevaaleissa Pohjois-Pohjanmaalla. Nämä sivut päivittyvät matkalla vaaleihin. Tervetuloa tutustumaan!

I have been involved in politics since 2005 and served as Oulu city councilor for four terms. During these years I have been e.g. as a member of the city council, chairman of the building committee and vice-chairman of the community board. I was a member of the welfare board until the end of 2022. From January 2023, I will be a member of the welfare, culture and sports board.

Especially in politics, I want the whole of Northern Ostrobothnia to be a safe place for all of us residents to live in and we don’t have to be afraid to move around during the day or at night. All of us, regardless of age or place of residence, have the right to work and good basic services, such as social and health services, education and public transport. It is also important to take good care of the built environment and nature, so that it brings refreshment and joy to the next generations as well.

Je suis en politique depuis 2005 et j’ai été conseiller municipal d’Oulu pendant quatre mandats. Au cours de ces années, j’ai été par ex. en tant que membre du conseil d’administration, président du comité de construction et vice-président du comité communautaire. J’ai été membre du conseil social et sanitaire jusqu’à fin 2022. A partir de janvier 2023, je serai membre de la commission bien-être, culture et sports.

Surtout en politique, je souhaite que l’ensemble de l’Ostrobotnie du Nord soit un endroit sûr pour nous tous, habitants, et que nous n’ayons pas peur de nous déplacer de jour comme de nuit. Nous tous, quel que soit notre âge ou notre lieu de résidence, avons droit au travail et à de bons services de base, tels que les services sociaux et de santé, l’éducation et les transports publics. Il est également important de prendre soin de l’environnement bâti et de la nature, afin qu’ils apportent également fraîcheur et joie aux générations futures.
